Guidelines
This website has been designed for the sole purpose of helping IP creators through the process of successful IP creation.
If you have someone you know who is creating an IP, but they express no interest in this website, please do not push it on them, as they must have some other idea of what they’d like.
Not every IP creator wants to create something professionally, so please be graceful in the face of rejection if they do not want what you have offered for their aid.
The same guideline applies for professional IP creators, who may already have their “secret sauce” or “winning formula,” and do not want to “play the game called Start creating your IP.”
If you find yourself having a great time while clicking on buttons and seeing what insight pops up, then stay as long as you’d like. Share it with friends who think the idea is fun, or who are genuinely fun.
Nothing should be done in a manner to pressure people, because the world has plenty of pressure anyway, and nothing should feel stressful.
While topics may be covered that could be potentially stressful, it is generally more a problem of people are not comfortable with their surroundings, as opposed to the topics.
If any portion of the website does not make sense, causes stress or extreme emotions, then it is not for you.
If you find yourself offended, then you are not in need of a website like this to make IP creation a fun process.
While children and teens are always welcome to come and visit with parental encouragement, the content on this website is really meant for adults over the age of 22, meaning after they have graduated from college.
Adult topics are discussed in adult ways, and not everything is child-appropriate, so please do not leave your child unsupervised clicking on buttons for fun and running into topics that may not be good for them at that age. It is one thing if you give your two or three-year-old the iPad to click on buttons for fun, but giving it to your 10-year-old could bring up a lot of early discussions that you and your child are not ready for at this time.
For guardians of both children and teenagers, the content in this website is meant to address IPs only. If your child has mental health challenges or is known to struggle with depression or suicidal thoughts, this website is not at all designed for suicide prevention for teens. Do not give this website to your already depressed teenager to “cheer them up” or “keep them company” in their silence or increasing isolation. The “I quit” button especially is in terms of an IP and not an individual’s life. Call a suicide hotline, and the conversation will be very different. Please do not think that one website alone will pull someone out of their depression or dark thoughts, and please get your child to therapy or EAP or another mental health provider who will care for your child appropriately.
The message is the same if you are an adult who is struggling. Please call the appropriate hotlines and talk with someone who can get you help, as it could save your life and put you on the road to recovery, happiness, and success.
No content on this website should be brought into middle schools or high schools by bullies who think it is funny to push around someone who is genuinely working on their IP at school. The same goes for colleges or graduate school. Note that if the person who is being shown the website does not want to partake in the activities, that person should be respected and left alone to work in peace.
Teachers may bring the website in for teaching purposes only, and with full guidance at all times to help their students understand what it means to create a website like this.
This website should never be forced upon any IP creator who does not want assistance in this manner.
