Costume Design
Costume Design is intricately and intimately connected with Character Design. When you have a character, their costume is inseparable from them. When people think of a character, they think of how that character is dressed — their look. Even though you may begin to think that you have nothing original or nothing special to say, especially because it seems like everyone has used all the colors and all the fabrics and all the styles of the world already, I want you to know: There is no one with your vision. Right? No one else has your vision. Please push past that discomfort you are feeling and sit down and design with love, with smarts, with guts. You can design for you and your IP just fine. Go ahead. Read, be inspired, draw, write, and create.
