What do you need?
Think of it like equipping yourself for a new adventure.
Do you need water? Do you need snacks? A whole meal?
Do you need to do a little bit of reference hunting?
Are you okay with just going in the way you are now?
I know people may not feel like “self care” is the thing to go with, so I say it with the above description instead.
What do you need to feel comfortable and confident going back in?
Do you have the changes that you want to make this season that you didn’t have last season?
Did you remember to celebrate finishing up last season?
If not, celebrate now, before you resent not having anything good going on for you for a grueling next season. It’s like healing to full health at the save point before you move on.
